Work with PISCES


The PISCES Project has multiple Science Education Fellow positions that are available for at least a 9 or 12-month appointment, working 15-20 hours per week. Fellows partner with local K-6 teachers to implement kit-based science in their classrooms. Fellows may also assist with project administration needs including inventory control, program outreach, and web design. Fellows are required to attend a weekly seminar and professional development project meetings. There are opportunities for some fellows to travel to La Paz, Baja California and Alaska's North Slope to extend the program's efforts.

The PISCES Project also has data analysts positions available for at least a 9 or 12-month appointment, working 15-20 hours per week. This position involves data collection, entry and analysis. Knowledge of statistical techniques and familiarity with statistical computer packages (such as SAS or SPSS) is necessary.

Minimum Qualifications for Applicants:

Undergraduate pay rate is $10.00 per hour
Graduate pay rate is $21.43 per hour
Tuition and fee remission is also available
